The terminal you always wished you had.

A real terminal that works like a modern desktop app. vim, tmux, ssh and every CLI run as they do anywhere else. Native on Windows, Linux and macOS.

No login. No telemetry by default. No bundled AI.

> In development. The private alpha opens later this year.

Invites go out in waves. Your answers decide the order, so they take about a minute.

Which CLI coding tools do you use at least weekly? Pick all that apply.
How often do you use them? (optional)

We keep your email and answers to send invites and set the invite order. No cookies, no analytics. Privacy note. To delete your data, email hello@bramo.sh.

Every command is a block

Each command and its output is a block you can click, copy, search and rerun. If an error prints a file path, click it and the file opens at that line. vim, htop and your TUIs still see a normal terminal.

Sessions sort themselves

Sessions group by repo without setup. Pinned sessions stay and throwaway ones close. The environment bar shows the git branch and the kube context, and turns red in production. Quit or update the app and your sessions keep running.

It tells you when a tool needs you

If you run Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or OpenCode, the session shows whether it is working, waiting for you or done, and sends a notification. Bramo has no agent of its own. It works with the tools you already use.

Bring your config

Bramo imports profiles, colors, fonts and keybindings from Windows Terminal, Ghostty, iTerm2, Alacritty and WezTerm.

Questions

Is it free?
The alpha is free. We will publish pricing before the public launch.
Do I need an account?
No.
Does it collect data?
Not by default. It never sends anything you type or see.
Does it replace tmux, my prompt or my dotfiles?
No. starship, tmux, lazygit and your dotfiles keep working. The config is a plain bramo.toml file.
When can I try it?
A private alpha with design partners opens later this year. Join the waitlist to get an invite.
